Habitat regeneration

25 years ago I bought this piece of land  in South Norfolk which was originally a smallholding. I rescued the old barn  converting it to a residence and turned 3.5 acres of pasture over to wildlife habitats.

Habitats created include:

• A woodland of over 300 trees I planted 25 years ago
• Two wildflower meadows over 2 acres managed over 20 years
• A wildlife pond and scrub mound
  
• A gravel garden
• An area managed under permaculture principles
• A vegetable plot
